Just moved to Ashland and wish I had been warned. The place looked great from the outside, but inside it was dirty and the cigarette smoke was disgusting while getting to eat. Food may have been ok, but I couldn't enjoy it.
I thought the openface roast beef was very good and I enjoyed the gravy and I thought the green beans were good. They had a tough time making coffee in mid afternoon but there may not be a big demand I guess at the pub for coffee but the recommended dark beer was fantastic.
If you sit on the patio, you are on your own. Had to go searching for napkins, condiments etc. Asked for another drink, but it never came. Very bland tacos came without salsa, only sour cream was available. It felt like we were invisible even though I was part of a group of 12.
First time here. We made plans to stop in 4 weeks ago for our 2017 Eclipse journey. Very impressed. The atmosphere is family friendly! Salad bar is fresh and the Cowboy Burger is highly recommended! It was definitely worth trying this place out.
I thought everything was good though they did charge for an extra piece of bread $1.50 which I thought was a bit high. I would definitely go back again. I would like to try the desert if they have some fresh coffee. ;-) My cousin pictured here with the waitress enjoy his meal as well - several different ladies helped us and we appreciate it
Pretty good food for a small town pub. Would have given 5 stars if they were non-smoking and the wait staff were friendlier. A smile goes a long way when you're working for a tip.
